No-yeast, no-knead bread recipes?

I saw this on a cooking show once. Kneading kills my hands, and I would prefer not to add yeast...I know there is a way to do this. I don't care how long it takes, I got nothin' but time...lol thanks for recipes and help!No-yeast, no-knead bread recipes?
Irish Soda Bread

3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

2 1/2 cups Gold Medal庐 all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup raisins, if desired

3/4 cup buttermilk

1. Heat oven to 375潞F. Grease cookie sheet.

2. Cut butter into flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt in large bowl, using pastry blender or crisscrossing 2 knives, until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in raisins and just enough buttermilk so dough leaves side of bowl.

3. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Knead 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth. Shape into round loaf, about 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Place on cookie sheet. Cut an X shape about 1/2 inch deep through loaf with floured knife.

4. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with butter or margarine, softened, if desired.

This one still takes a bit of kneading but not as much as Yeast bread recipes.

You really should look into getting a Bread Machine, they are a snap to use and no kneading. You can make doughs or bake in the machine. I love mine and it was worth the money as I bake a few times a week in it.. I ha-vent bought store bread since I've gotten it. I make hot dog buns, hamburger buns, dinner rolls, bread, cinnamon rolls, it is so versatileNo-yeast, no-knead bread recipes?
Not sure if you will check the comments but here you go.

I have the Breadman Ultimate Plus. I'm sure it was purchased at A Walmart- And probably was not one of the more expensive one. Report Abuse

Use whatever recipes you have just omit the yeast and replace it with baking soda and baking powder, usually 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of each, and adjust your liquid if the yeast on you recipes calls for additional liquid. Hope this helps - its all about leavening agents. Oh and you don't need to knead bread, just mix with a fork as you add in ingredients a little at a time after each incorporation, and it'll roll up into a ball in no time, then pour a small amount of oil (like 1/4 of a cup at the most) over the top and roll it around in the bowl to for a nice smooth ball. Experiment and you'll have fun, all you gotta do is pick out any of your favorite recipes.
4 cups flour

1 tbsp sugar

1/2 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tbsp baking soda

1陆 cups water

2 tsp vinegar (cider or white)

Combine dry ingredients and mix. Combine water and vinegar. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix. Shape into a round (about 1陆 to 2 inches high), then place on pan. Dip a sharp knife into flour and cut an 'X' into the top of the loaf. Bake 40 minutes. Remove, and while hot, glaze with 1 tbsp melted or softened butter
I like Beer Bread...goes great with hearty meals like thick stews or meat and potatoe type dishes.

No-Fuss Rolls

INGREDIENTS

1 cup self-rising flour

1/2 cup 2% milk

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon sugar

DIRECTIONS

In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Spoon into six muffin cups coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 450 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Serve warm.

As a substitute for 1 cup of self-rising flour, place 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a measuring cup. Add all-purpose flour to measure 1 cup.
I use a bread machine on knead...
